Senator Adebule disclosed this in a statement shared on her official Facebook handle on Saturday, describing the large-scale intervention as a key component of her people-centred representation and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to her, the beneficiaries underwent comprehensive training in various vocations, including tailoring, catering, barbing, ICT and other skills, before being provided with relevant tools and starter packs to enable them to become self-reliant and build sustainable livelihoods.

She added that the programme also featured the distribution of mini-buses, cash endowments to 100 beneficiaries, mobility support for persons with disabilities, as well as fertilisers and other essential farming inputs for farmers across the senatorial district.

The lawmaker noted that the event also served as a platform to present a detailed account of her legislative activities and the numerous development projects executed across Lagos West since her assumption of office.

While urging beneficiaries to maximise the opportunities provided, Senator Adebule explained that the annual empowerment initiative is designed to complement the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda in Lagos West and to reaffirm her commitment to justifying the confidence and support of her constituents.

She expressed appreciation to her colleague, Senator Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), for attending the programme and pledging support for the initiative.

She also thanked Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Bimbola Salu-Hundeyin; the Lagos State APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi; members of the Governor’s Advisory Council, led by Chief Rabiu Oluwa; council chairmen, traditional rulers, party leaders and other dignitaries for their presence and support.
