The re-election campaign of Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA and APC flagbearer in the forthcoming local government elections, was officially inaugurated on Friday at Ogba Bus Stop in a vibrant rally attended by party faithful and community stakeholders.
Hon. Odunmbaku, joined by his running mate, Alhaja Kafaya Layeni, and the six councillorship candidates, received party flags in a show of unity and renewed commitment to consolidating the gains of his first term.


The campaign launch, tagged DOS/KFL 2025 HEYSRELOADED, also featured goodwill messages from key party leaders including the Director-General of the campaign council, Barr. Olawale Ajala, Ojodu APC Chairperson, Alhaja Stella Kokumo, and representative of Hon James Faleke, Barr Bayo Ayo who all urged voters to back the APC for continuity and development.
In his remarks, Odunmbaku expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku, and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke for their enduring mentorship and support. He also hailed the strong presence of CDC members, ethnic groups, artisans, youths and women.
At the ceremony showcasing APC’s grassroots strength in Ojodu, the party formally presented its six councillorship candidates: Opeyemi Apatira (Ward A), Shade Awolala (Ward B), Lanre Fatiu Omoilu (Ward C), Lanre Ogunnoiki (Ward D), Bukola Ademuyegun (Ward E), and Abass Shakiru Abiodun (Ward F) to a jubilant crowd.
In his expression of gratitude, Secretary of the Campaign Council, Hon Olaide John Bello thanked party chieftains including APC Lagos State Exco Member, Chief Oludele Sonola, Deputy LGA Party Chairman, Hon Gbemi Ololade, Chief Mathew Adesanya, Olori Lola Bashorun, Hon Abiodun Ayileka, Chief Adeyinka Jeje, Chief Yomi Balogun, Chief Oludele Sonola, Hon Ronke Adebayo, Alhaji Oladapo Atinshola, Hon Tayo Orekoya, Chief MKO Akindele and several party stalwarts who attended the event while giving his vote of thanks.
