Speaking on the enforcement operation, the General Manager of LASEPA, Dr. Babatunde Ajayi, reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to protecting public health and preserving the environment through sustained monitoring, regulatory compliance and effective enforcement of environmental standards across Lagos State. The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) on Tuesday sealed twelve establishments across Ogba, Idimu-Ikota, Ejigbo, LASU-Iba Road, Igando and Agodo-Egbe areas of the state over alleged persistent violations of environmental regulations. He urged business owners, facility operators, religious institutions, scrap dealers and residents across the State to embrace environmentally responsible practices, obtain all necessary permits and approvals, comply fully with applicable environmental regulations and cooperate with LASEPA in its efforts to build a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable Lagos.
