Lagos State Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of seven Permanent Secretaries/Tutors-General in the State Public Service.

The new appointees are Mrs. Adebopo Abosede Oyekan-Ismaila, Director, Administration and Human Resources, Public Service Office; Mrs. Abisola Khadijat Dokunmu-Adegbite, Director, Administration and Human Resources, Ministry of Establishments and Training; Mrs. Olayinka Modupe Ojo, Director, Statistics, Ministry of Economic Planning and Budget and Mr. Hameed Olanrewaju Oyenuga, Director/State Counsel, Ministry of Justice.

Other appointees include Mrs. Mojisola Christiana Yusuff, Director, Education/Principal, Education District III; Mr. Dauda Abiodun Hassan, Director, Education/Principal, Education District IV and Mr. Muyiwa John Adetola, State Auditor-General Designate, Office of the State Auditor-General.

A circular signed by the Head of Service, Mr. Bode Agoro, stated that the appointments were based on merit, noting that the appointees were selected from a pool of successful candidates after a screening exercise for Permanent Secretaries/Tutors-General in the Lagos State Public Service.

Agoro expressed confidence in the capabilities and competencies of the new appointees, just as he affirmed recognition of their diligence, commitment, intellectual capacity and dedication to effective service delivery.

While wishing them a most rewarding and impactful tenure of Office, the Head of Service stated that the appointments take effect from Tuesday, 19th November 2024, while portfolios of the new Permanent Secretaries will be announced in due course.
