To commemorate the Birthday of our amiable and performing Governor of Lagos State, HE Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa together with party stalwarts, Executive Members, Legislative Arm, Management and Staff of the Council held a prayer session for the Governor at the Council Secretariat today.
During the events, encomiums were showered on the Governor (Mr. Sellable) by some of the Clerics and political stalwarts describing him as a leader of repute and class who shows great sense of commitment (without partiality) to both the Islamic and Christian religions.
The Council Boss in his remarks, lauded the sterling performance of the Governor whom he termed Mr. Project since the inception of his administration. He went further to admonish the gathering on the need to get their PVCs within the remaining short period in order to cast their votes for all the APC Candidates in the coming elections. He concluded by praying for the successful election of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as President of Nigeria and the reelection of Mr. Sanwo-Olu as Governor of Lagos State come 2023.
Both the Islamic and Christian Clerics took turns to lead the attendees in prayer session for the Governor, the Nation and the 2023 Elections.
The occasion, which was well attended by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Ajoke Moromoke Obe (who gave the Vote of Thanks), Executive Members led by the Secretary to the Local Government, Chief Akinwumi James Odeyemi, Legislative Arm led by the Leader of the House, Hon. Olatunji Ogunyemi, Management Team and Staff of the Council led by the Council Manager, Mr. Olugbenga Shogbanmu and Party Faithfuls led by Agbado/Oke-Odo G-14 Secretary and Agbado/Oke-Odo APC Emeritus Chairman, Cooperator Olusegun Shodiya came to a remarkable close by the Cutting of the Governor’s 57th beautiful and yummy cake.
