Sanusi arrives Lagos

The dethroned Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II has arrived Lagos.

The private jet that conveyed the former Emir touched down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos late Friday night.

He had departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja (NAIA) around 10:30 p.m aboard a private jet belonging to Quits Aviation.

He was received by his wives, children and some friends. He left the Quits Aviation Terminal at about 12:17 am in a convoy of over 10 vehicles.

However, when he was approached for interview, he simply said: “No comment.”

The former Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, had been deposed earlier in the week by the Kano State Governor Abdullahi Ganduje on account of repeated acts of insubordination and banished to Loko in Nasarawa State.

He was, however, relocated to Awe, also in the state, before he was first flown to Abuja on Friday before finally arriving Lagos where he has a house.
