As part of activities to commemorate his birthday, the Executive Chairman of Olorunda LCDA, Hon. Samson Folorunso Olatunde (SAMOLA) earlier today, Thursday 11th May, 2023 spent time with the children at Lady Atinuke Orphanage Home, Elijah, Olorunda LCDA.
It may interest you to know that this has become a form of tradition as the Chairman has often celebrated his birthday at orphanage homes across the Council bearing gifts and foodstuffs.
This was no exception as Hon. Olatunde visited with his entourage bearing mattresses, bags of rice, beans, noodles, pasta, packs of drinks, cartons of biscuits and more.
According to an official of the home “He has been consistent in supporting this home over the last six years. Sometimes he comes when the store is empty and then it becomes full. I can say he is the best chairman, he is trying his best for the less privileged homes in Badagry.”
In the entourage of the Chairman were the Chairperson, Mrs. Oluwakemi Abimbola Olatunde, Members of the Executive arm of the government of the Council led by the Vice-Chairman, Hon. Ogungbemi Monsuru and the Secretary to the Council, Hon. Odu Joseph, Members of the Legislative arm led by the Leader, Hon. Ariwayo Christian, Executives of Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) among others.
