Public Private Partnership, key to accelerated development.- Kehinde

Ogun State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Dr Oluwadare Kehinde has stated that Public Private Partnership is key to accelerated development as government alone cannot do it all.

Oluwadare stated this at the opening ceremony of a two-month skill acquisition and empowerment program on Acutherapy by Dangote Cement Factory, Ibese, for Youths in their Host Communities as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility scheme for the year 2020.

The Commissioner further explained that youth empowerment is one of the key agenda of the Prince Dapo Abiodun led administration while praising the efforts of the Dangote Group for the different projects they have been doing for their host communities and the State at large in terms of developing the Youths in the State.

He admonished the trainees to sustain and apply the experiences they will acquire at the training for the overall development of themselves and the State, while also assuring Dangote Group of State Government’s support when and if needed.

Dr. Kehinde expressed the readiness of the State Government to partner with any company in the state that is willing to collaborate with the Government in developing the state because Government can not do it alone

Dignitaries at the event include the Member representing Egbado North 1 State Constituency, Honourable Adegoke Adeyanju, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Engr Olaiwola Abiodun, Royal fathers and indigenes of the area.
