Protest: Emir Bayero to lead Kano delegation to Tinubu, sues for peace

The 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero is set to lead a delegation from Kano State to President Tinubu to deliver a message from the people of Kano State.

 

The 15th Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero is set to lead a delegation from Kano State to President Tinubu to deliver a message from the people of Kano State.

He stressed that the delegation was to convey the concerns of the people of the state as expressed during their visit to his palace during the protest.

A statement by his Press Secretary, Abubakar Balarabe Kofar Naisa, Saturday sympathized with those affected by the incident negatively by the protest in the state.

Bayero emphasized, “As always, in times of hardship, people should draw closer to God and pray, as only He can bring comfort.

The monarch called on the people of the state to maintain peace and avoid violence or damaging government and private property.

He urged parents to take care of their children’s upbringing. He quoted the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who said that each person is a shepherd and will be questioned about what they were entrusted with on the Day of Judgment.

Bayero prayed for the souls of those who lost their lives, for the recovery of the injured as well as the restoration of the losses incurred during the protest.
