The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Thursday, unveiled an 80-page policy manifesto that outlines an eight-point programme.

The former Governor of Lagos stated in his manifesto, which was obtained by this publication, that one of his main objectives is to create a new society built on shared wealth, tolerance, compassion, and the steadfast commitment to treating every individual with respect and decency.

Here are the top ten commitments he made to Nigerians.

1. Create a Nigeria, particularly for our youth, where there are enough employment paying reasonable wages to make life better

2. Produce, invent, and manufacture more of the products and services we need. Nigeria will be known as a nation of producers rather than merely consumers.

3. Increasing exports while reducing imports will help the naira and our way of life.

4. Keep supporting our tireless farmers by implementing smart agricultural policies that encourage productivity and guarantee respectable salaries, enabling them to feed the nation and provide for their families.

5. Upgrade and broaden public infrastructure to promote the best possible growth of the rest of the economy.

6. Encourage and assist our youth and women by utilising developing industries like the digital economy, entertainment and culture, tourism, and others to create the Nigeria of the future, right now

7. Provide the poorest and most disadvantaged people with training and business opportunities. We want to see a Nigeria where no parent must send a hungry child to night worrying about whether there will be food for them the next day.

8. Produce, transmit, and distribute enough reasonably priced electricity to offer our people the necessary power to illuminate their homes, lives, and dreams

9. Ensure that everyone has access to and can afford basic housing, healthcare, and education.

10. Finally, and most significantly, develop a bold, forceful national security strategy that will work to eradicate terrorism, kidnapping, banditry, and all other kinds of violent extremism from the face of our country
