President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commiserated with the family of late Prof Abdullahi Muhammed Shinkafi at his resident on Friday.
Rt. Hon. James Abiodun Faleke who represented the President, said the condolence visitation was to condole with the family over the sudden death of one of Tinubu’s foot-soldiers in Zamfara state and further informed the family of a scholarship to one of the deceased children.
Hon. Faleke was accompanied by other big wings of the All Progressive Congress, APC, including; Hon Sanusi Rikiji, Alh Sanusi Gamji, Hon Humpe, Hon Adejare and Dr. Charles Sylvester.
The team was received by the deceased wives Prof Saadatu and Prof. Bilkisu and children.
Recall late last month according to a press statement signed and issued to newsmen in Gusau, the State capital, by the State APC publicity secretary, Mallam Yusuf Idris Gusau, his sudden death was devastating.
“The death of a promising Islamic scholar of international repute and academician per excellence such as Professor Shinkafi’s is a monumental loss to Zamfara State, State APC Family, and Nigeria at large,” the statement said.
