President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has showered glowing tributes on his son, Seyi Tinubu, as he clocks 40, describing him as a focused, courageous, and humble man whose life reflects discipline, service, and integrity.
In a heartfelt message personally signed by the President, Tinubu expressed gratitude to Almighty God for Seyi’s life and the man he has become.
“Today, as you turn forty, I thank Almighty God for your life and the man you have become. You have walked your path with focus, courage, and humility — with a heart that seeks to build, serve, and uplift others,” the President wrote.
Highlighting Seyi’s achievements in business and philanthropy, Tinubu commended his son’s passion for turning “ideas into institutions and challenges into opportunities,” noting that his success is defined not by material wealth but by the positive impact he makes on others.
The President described 40 as “a special age that bridges youthful drive and mature wisdom,” praising Seyi for carrying the Tinubu name with honour and remaining faithful to the family’s enduring values of “discipline, integrity, and hard work.”
“Our entire family is proud of you — of the family you are building with Layal, your devotion as a husband and father, and your commitment to making a difference in your generation,” Tinubu added.
Wishing him continued success, the President prayed for divine wisdom, good health, and peace as Seyi enters a new decade of life.
“You have made us proud, and I know you will continue to make Nigeria proud,” he concluded.
