Manchester City approach the final day of the season with a strong grip on the Premier League trophy, but the title race isn’t over yet, as Arsenal remain in contention.

City moved two points ahead at the top of the table on Tuesday after their 2-0 victory against Tottenham, putting them in the driver’s seat for a record fourth consecutive league title.

Pep Guardiola’s team will play at home against West Ham on Sunday. A win will secure the title for them once again.

However, the title is still undecided, with Arsenal holding on to hope as they prepare to host Everton.

Here are the scenarios for each team to win the Premier League this weekend.

What do Manchester City need to win the Premier League?
City’s task is straightforward—defeat West Ham, and they will claim the title.

A victory at the Etihad would make them the first team in English football history to win four consecutive top-flight titles.

Alternatively, City can still win the title if Arsenal fail to beat Everton, regardless of their own result against West Ham.

What do Arsenal need to win the Premier League?
For Arsenal to claim the title, they must beat Everton and hope that Man City suffer defeat against West Ham.

Anything less than a victory at the Emirates will see the trophy remain with City. Arsenal could also win the title if both teams finish the season level on points.

What if both teams finish level on points?
In a rare scenario where goal difference decides the title, Arsenal would need to beat Everton and hope Man City play a draw with West Ham, resulting in both teams finishing with 89 points.

Arsenal currently have a superior goal difference of 61—one better than City’s—so they would win the title if both teams end up with the same number of points.

The Premier League title was last decided on goal difference in the 2011/12 season when Manchester City edged out Manchester United, thanks to Sergio Aguero’s dramatic 94th-minute winner against QPR, with both teams finishing on 89 points.
