The Executive Chairman Ojodu LCDA, Hon Julius Oloro has appealed to youths of the LCDA to help maintain peace in the council and to also help in the cleaning process of the environment after the escalated crisis that engulfed the state last week.
Engineer Oloro in a press release on Saturday, stated that, “I sincerely appreciate the entire Ojodu youths, Community Development Associations, the Area Commander, various police formations, women forum, artisans, and other stakeholders, who rescued the newly completed Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Ojodu LCDA Secretariat after it came under attack by miscreants during the invasion of the state by hoodlums that hijacked EndSARS protest by criminal elements to commit nefarious activities that led to looting and destructions of public and private properties across the state”.
“This collective responsibility and securing of public properties should be continuous.
“It is also pertinent, that we should all join hands with the state government, in their efforts to clear the garbage on the street and LCDA Secretariat”.
“Cleanliness is next to Godliness. This will fast track and foster Lagos State efforts of ensuring neat, passable and garbage free environment”.
“The exercise is to commence immediately. Thanking you all for your understanding” the council chairman concluded.
