Polaris Bank has entered into a strategic partnership with Cyclotron Cycling Development Initiatives to strengthen the LiveWell by Polaris initiative aimed at promoting healthy living, preventive healthcare, and overall wellbeing among Nigerians.

The collaboration was officially unveiled during a ceremony held at the Bank’s headquarters in Lagos, where both organisations also launched a co-branded partnership jersey to symbolise their shared commitment to wellness advocacy and healthy lifestyles through cycling.

LiveWell by Polaris is the Bank’s flagship wellness programme focused on encouraging physical fitness, mental wellbeing, and healthier lifestyle habits among employees, customers, and communities. The initiative features fitness challenges, health awareness campaigns, and strategic partnerships designed to reinforce the importance of wellbeing in achieving productivity and sustainable development.

Cyclotron Club, a not-for-profit cycling association, is renowned for promoting safe and organised cycling among professionals across various sectors including medicine, finance, law, technology, academia, and the automobile industry. The Club is also recognised for its advocacy campaigns such as the Lagos–Accra–Lagos Ride for Autism, which supports individuals living with autism and their families.

Speaking at the unveiling, Chris Ofikulu described the partnership as a major milestone in Polaris Bank’s commitment to wellness and impactful corporate social responsibility initiatives.

According to him, the collaboration reflects the Bank’s determination to encourage healthier lifestyles while supporting cause-driven advocacy programmes.

“This partnership is a significant step in the evolution of LiveWell by Polaris and reflects our commitment to championing healthier lifestyles and meaningful social impact,” he said.

Ofikulu added that the partnership aligns with the Bank’s broader vision of creating value beyond banking and making positive contributions to society.

“Cycling is not only a globally recognised sport but also one of the most effective ways to stay physically fit. Through LiveWell by Polaris, we are investing in the health and wellbeing of our people and the communities we serve because we firmly believe that health is wealth,” he stated.

Also speaking, Eziafakaku Nwokolo commended Polaris Bank for supporting wellness-focused initiatives and promoting social impact through cycling.

She noted that the partnership would help expand the Club’s advocacy efforts and support professional cyclists participating in both local and international competitions.

The event also featured a cycling skills demonstration by members of Cyclotron Club, highlighting the discipline, energy, and excellence associated with the organisation’s activities.

Through the LiveWell by Polaris initiative, Polaris Bank says it remains committed to promoting healthier communities, inspiring positive lifestyle choices, and delivering sustainable impact beyond banking.
