The Executive Chairman Ojodu LCDA, Hon Segun Odunmbaku commenced the celebration of “Two-Year” in Office with the sales of highly subsided food items to the residents to complement the palliative efforts of both the State and Federal Governments.
The event which took place on Wednesday at the Council Secretariat, Oke-ira.
The food items which include crates of egg, yam tubers. packs of apple, rice, beans and a host of other items were sold at the subsidised rate of 1000 Naira each.
Several residents attended in their numbers to celebrate the second year in office of Hon Odunmbaku, and benefited from the bountiful bazaar of food palliatives on display at the various exhibition stands in the Council hall.
While delivering his account of stewardship the Chairman, Hon Segun Odunmbaku stated that this is part of his administration’s commitment to further implement programmes and initiatives aimed at improving lives of Ojodu LCDA residents.
The delighted residents who bought the items were full of joy and praises as they took home subsidised foodstuff.
