The minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, on Thursday inspected ongoing repairs and restoration of works on the the Third Mainland bridge in Lagos.

Addressing newsmen after the inspection, the former Lagos governor announced that the bridge will now be reopened in February for public use.
