The Community Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (COMPASS Nigeria) has paid a condolence visit to the immediate past commissioner of Information and Strategy, Hon Kehinde Bamigbetan who lost his amiable wife Mrs. Fatimah Amele Bamigbetan on Sunday after a brief illness.

The Community Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (COMPASS Nigeria) has paid a condolence visit to the immediate past commissioner of Information and Strategy, Hon Kehinde Bamigbetan who lost his amiable wife Mrs. Fatimah Amele Bamigbetan on Sunday after a brief illness.

The COMPASS team was led by the National President, Comrade Tayo Aderinola, who while consoling the former Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA said that “we are sorry to learn about the death of your wife. The pain you are going through is unimaginable, please know that we are always with you”.

“May you find strength in this tough time, we pray and hope God will grant you and your family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss” Aderinola prayed.

The erstwhile Commissioner for Information and Strategy Hon Bamigbetan in his response expressed his appreciation for the visit of the Community Media Practitioners and described their visit as a great solace for him.

He averred that he would have loved to still have his wife by his side, yet, he is comforted that the little time they spent together was the best time of his life.

He stated that her departure would be sorely missed, but he is assured that God who has called her home would provide the fortitude to bear the loss.

Mrs. Fatimah Amele Bamigbetan’s service of song will hold on Tuesday 14th of December, at the Ejigbo Mini-Stadium, Ejigbo LCDA.

While her wake-keep is scheduled for 16th December at the family residence in Ife, Osun State and the final funeral is fixed for Friday 17th December.

May her gentle soul rest in peace (Amen).
