The All Progressives Congress Ikeja on Thursday at the Local Government Assembly presented the former Chairman Comrade A.B. Dania with a Toyota 4-wheel drive for his distinguished service to the party.

The chairman APC Ikeja Chapter Alhaji Dally Adeokun  commenced the meeting by welcoming the APC Lagos West Vice-Chairman Chief Funso Ologunde, other party leaders and members to the monthly meeting and quickly informed members of the party the LGA leadership decision to reward his predecessor’s for his hard work and excellent performance during his reign as the party’s chairman.

Adeokun said “Comrade Bamidele Dania for eleven years successfully steered the progressives of parties of Action Congress, Action Congress of Nigeria and midwifed the All Progressives Congress as the pioneer Chairman of our great party APC. Comrade and his team with the supports of the leadership and dedicated members won all the general elections and local government elections under his watch, an indication of his commitment and exemplary service to the party” the former Executive Secretary commended his predecessor.

APC Party Chieftain Chief Funso Ologunde also corroborated the party chairman as he commended the septuagenarian “this is just the beginning of recognizing a worthy service and extreme loyalty of Comrade A.B. Dania. The APC leadership in Ikeja have a well planned package for Comrade’s steadfastness and quality leadership for the party. This is just a tip of the iceberg of what to come” the party chieftain alluded.

Comrade A.B. Dania who attended the meeting with his wife expressed his gratitude to the party leadership for the recognition and worthy benefit as this would encourage other party faithful to be committed to the party’s activities and successes. The erstwhile Chairman noted that “words are not enough to express my sincere gratitude to our national leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson for the opportunity given to serve and lead the party at the grassroots where politics is truly enshrined. I thank all the leadership and members of the party especially my lieutenant the LGA executives and the ward chairmen whom we worked together with the grace of God made it possible to have achieved successes in all the 3 general and 3 local elections we superintended over. Thank you once again for this recognition and good gesture. May the Almighty God continue to give us victories at the polls”.

Other leaders at the meeting were the former chairman Ikeja Local Government council Mayor Alani Okikioposu, Dr Adesola Taiwo, Hon Lolade Shonibare, Chief Musa Seriki, Alhaja Ogun, Alhaja Abioro, Prince Olufon and a host of others.
