The Nigeria Girl Guides Association, Lagos State, decorated Mrs. Sunkanmi Oyegbola, Permanent Secretary of the Public Service Office, as Matron for the Association.

The Nigeria Girl Guides Association, Lagos State, decorated Mrs. Sunkanmi Oyegbola, Permanent Secretary of the Public Service Office, as Matron for the Association.

The investiture ceremony took place recently at the Conference Room, Public Service Office, the Secretariat, Alausa-Ikeja to mark a significant milestone in the history of the Association.

Speaking at the event, the Lagos State Commissioner,

Nigerian Girl Guides, Mrs. Caroline Akingbesote described Mrs. Sunkanmi Oyegbola’s investiture as a testament to her dedication, support and selflessness to the empowerment and development of girl-child in Nigeria.

Stressing that as a Public Servant and devout Christian, her contributions to promoting gender equality, education, and the welfare of girl-child in Lagos State have been exemplary.

Mrs. Sunkanmi Oyegbola, in her remarks, appreciated the Girl Guides Association for the honour bestowed on her to become a Matron for the Association.

She, therefore, promised to be more dedicated to the welfare and well-being of girl-children in Lagos State.
