The atmosphere at the Ojodu LCDA secretariat was enveloped with joyous fanfare as the newly elected Executive Chairman, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku sworn in the Councilors representing the Six (6) Wards of the Council.
Hon. Odunmbaku who solicited for the unalloyed support of all and sundry expressed that the present administration is an all-inclusive one that will ensure that developmental strides cut across nooks and crannies of the LCDA with consideration for partisanship and divisiveness.
The newly elected Chairman humbly thanked God, Leaders, and party members for their sacrificial support throughout the journey of his emergence, also appreciating the staff and the entire management team of Ojodu LCDA.
The election of the council Leaders commenced in the same vein. The legislative positions to steer an outstanding democratic legislative process of the New Dawn in Ojodu LCDA were conducted in a constitutional and democratic manner. Hon. Opeyemi Apatira from (ward A) was elected as the Leader of the house alongside Hon. Lekan Peters of (ward E) as Deputy speaker, From (ward D) Hon. Bolarinwa Lawal emerged as the majority leader while Hon. Gbenga Opebi as the Chief whip (ward C). This was applauded by the members of the party and well-wishers of the new administration and the general public.
The program however ended with zeal by the new administrators as they have received the mantle to work and keep all promises.
