The Executive Chairman of Olorunda LCDA, Hon. Samson Folorunso Olatunde, has awarded educational bursaries to 200 indigent students and 50 other beneficiaries received cash palliatives during a ceremony held on Thursday 30th November, 2023, at the Council Secretariat.
The students received 20,000 naira each bursary allowance and 50,000 naira for each palliative beneficiaries, stand as educational support and a cushion against the present harsh economic challenges faced by Nigerians.
Hon. Ogungbemi Monsuru, Vice-Chairman of the Council and Chairman of the Bursary Award Committee, emphasized the administration’s unwavering commitment to alleviating economic burdens and fostering student success.
In a media interaction, Hon. Olatunde commended the dedicated efforts of the Award Committee, highlighting the administration’s steadfast commitment to initiatives that prioritize the welfare of the populace. He passionately encouraged the students to seize this opportunity and envision a future brimming with possibilities.
“This is not just about the awards; it’s about catalyzing dreams,” Hon. Olatunde remarked.
