A former Chairman of Ojokoro Local Development Council Area (LCDA), Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo, has emerged candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Ifako Ijaye federal constituency in Lagos State.
In the primary election conducted on Friday, Olabinjo, who is also a former Special Adviser on Civic Engagement in Lagos State, polled 35 votes to defeat incumbent Hon. James Owolabi, who got four votes.
Hon. Saka Fafunmi, a former member of the Lagos Assembly, polled 14 votes.
