The headquarters of Ojodu LCDA, Oke-ira was a hive of excitement as the Council Engineer, Shomade Gregory Abiodun Babatunde (MNIOB) was glamorously celebrated on his 60th birthday and retirement from public service.
GAB, as he is fondly called was surrounded by teaming colleagues and well wishers as a show of love and acknowledgement of the exemplary life he led while in service.
The Executive Chairman Hon. David Odunmbaku, ably represented by the SLG Hon. Olaide Bello rehashed the words of other guests while describing the uniqueness of Engr. Shomade.
“Engr. Shomade is a lovable man, whose personality is endearing to all and sundry” Bello remarked.
The ceremony was well attended by eminent dignitaries and personalities in the society including the Vice Chairman Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, Legislative and Executive members, past Heads of Administration, collegues from LGs/LCDAs across the state, friends and family members.
