The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, has flagged off the Council’s Fuel Voucher Empowerment Programme as part of activities marking his first 100 Days in Office.
In a show of practical leadership, Hon. Odunmbaku visited multiple designated filling stations, personally supervising the redemption of fuel vouchers and interacting with Keke, Korope, and bus operators benefiting from the initiative.
The programme offers ₦10,000 worth of fuel to 100 Keke Marwa operators, and ₦20,000 each to 50 Korope operators and selected bus drivers—an intervention aimed at reducing operational costs and stimulating grassroots economic activity.
Beneficiaries redeemed their vouchers at Eterna Oil Station, Sunbeth Fuel Station, Bovas Fuel Station, and the NNPC Omole Station within the Ojodu LCDA.
According to Hon. Odunmbaku, the project aligns with the welfare-focused pillars of his HEYSRELOADED Agenda, aimed at fostering affordable transportation, supporting local livelihoods, and enhancing socioeconomic growth across the LCDA.
