Ojodu Chairman Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku Commissions Modern Convenience Facility

The business men, women and artisans at the Mechanic Village, Agindingbi Ikeja could not hide their joy as the Executive Chairman Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, in company of Executive Committee members, Legislators, Management team, Traditional and political leaders, commissioned a newly built modern public toilet.

The business men, women and artisans at the Mechanic Village, Agindingbi Ikeja could not hide their joy as the Executive Chairman Ojodu LCDA, Hon. David Olusegun Odunmbaku, in company of Executive Committee members, Legislators, Management team, Traditional and political leaders, commissioned a newly built modern public toilet.

Odunmbaku expressed his readiness to leave no stone unturned in the course of improving the living standard of the people, hence, the several developmental projects executed since the inception of his administration a few months ago.

“This is an ‘away-from-home’ public convenience, which provides far more than access to the typical toilet. It has been well-equipped with state-of-the-art gears to effectively serve everyone around this Community.

“This facility is one of the several projects that our administration has embarked upon since inception a few months ago. Let me reiterate that this is just tip of the iceberg as we shall not rest on our oars until all citizens and residents of Ojodu LCDA enjoy the dividends of democracy” the Mayor said.

While delivering his goodwill speech, the Chairman Motor Mechanics and Technicians Association of Nigeria (MONTAN) Agidingbi, Engr. Najeem K. Onjoko expressed his heartfelt appreciation on behalf of all members of the association for the magnanimity extended towards the Mechanic Village by the administration of Hon. Odunmbaku.

Odunmbaku recapped his administration’s achievements which included the renovation of all PHCs in the LCDA, rehabilitation of ICT and Vocational Training Centres, construction of major roads and link bridges (in pipeline) distribution of JAMBand GCE forms, employment of over 150 non pensionable personnel etc.

He added: “we are running an all-inclusive government as the closest government to the people; our doors are always open to your yearning, innovations and contributions towards our collective success”

The mayor also admonished the participants at the event to obtain their Permanent Voters Cards in order to further enjoy the dividends of democracy and continuity of successes.

In his response, the Baale of Agidingbi, High Chief Ganiyu Haruna eulogized the Executive Chairman for having the interest of the masses at heart through delivery of people-oriented projects across the LCDA.
