Ojo Local Government Holds Year 2022 Budget Stakeholders’ Consultative Forum

The Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu(Mr. Project) has pledged that his administration shall work assiduously to make lives more meaningful to the inhabitants until the Council becomes role model for others to emulate.

He made the remark during the year 2022 Budget Stakeholders’ Consultative forum held at the Local Government, Multipurpose Hall, Ojo, on Wednesday.

Hon. Idowu opined that the forum was organised to rub minds on the needs, yearnings and aspirations of the teeming populace of the local government area, adding that ‘it is desired of his administration to continue to improve on the past achievements for the people to enjoy more dividends of democratic governance

The Council Boss explained that year 2021 has been a remarkable year and the following feats were recorded: Repair of bridge at Ilufe, Construction of roads; Ajakaye street, Akinbode/ Tedi road, Taiwo Akinbode road, Construction of Concrete footbridge at Irewe, Sinking of new borehole at Ilaje and rehabilitation of boreholes at different locations, others were; construction of culverts at different locations and empowerment of many indigents and vulnerable in the community among others.

In his own assessment, the Head, Budget and Planning, Mr. Lookman Onitiri gave graphical illustrations of year 2021 Budget performance and assured the stakeholders that year 2022 Budget would be better with lots of developmental and economic programmes.

The stakeholders gave kudos to the Executive Chairman and his team for impactful and mass oriented programmes and hope for better and improvement in year 2022 Budget.

The event was witnessed by the Vice Chairman, Hon.(Mrs.) Edna Uche Ubochi, Leader of the Council, Hon. Solomon Adefemi Whusu, Hon.Councillors, Council Manager, Mrs.Esther Ajose, Management Team, Royal Fathers, Baales and Chiefs, Community Development  Committee Members and Community Development Associations, All Progressives Congress(APC) Leaders,Party Exco and Members and all the Stakeholders in the local government area.
