The Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu (Mr.Project) has been commended for upgrading and improvement of the Primary Health Care Centres in the Local Government Area.
This was revealed by the Lagos State, House of Assembly, Committee Chairman on Health, Hon.Hakeem Olusola Sokunle (Oshodi Isolo 1) in Ojo Local Government during the oversight function of the house committee, today ,at the Local Government Secretariat.
Hon. Sokunle was satisfied with the level of facilities and equipments met on ground at primary health care centres, noting that the local government can still improve to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the teeming populace of the area.
In his own remark, the Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon.Rasulu Olusola Idowu(Mr. Project) thanked the Chairman and Members of the entourage for the oversight function on inspection and assessment of the primary health care centres in the local government, adding that the visit ‘will ginger us more to contribute meaningfully to the health sector’.
The event was witnessed by the Vice Chairman, Hon.(Mrs.) Edna Uche Ubochi, Council Manager, Mrs. Esther Ajose, Medical Officer Of Health, Dr. Kehinde Oguntoyinbo, Head, Sanitation and Waste Management, Sanitarian Racheal Oluwafunmilayo Anifowoshe and other Management Staff. In company of the Chairman, Health Committee, were the Secretary, Mr. Omotayo Hammed, Assistant Secretary, Mr.Ogbe Adeyinka and others.
