Ojo LG. Chairman Commends the supportive roles of the Lagos State Community Development Advisory Council (CDAC)

This was the assertion of the Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu during the year 2022 Annual Congress of the Lagos State Community Development Advisory Council, themed: “The role of Community Leaders during the 2023 General Elections” held at Multipurpose Hall, Ojo.

The Chairman applauded the vibrancy and antecedents of the Community Leaders on their pivotal roles to always mobilise the Communities towards result oriented government policies and programmes.

Hon. Idowu commended the Community leaders for the theme of this year’s  Congress which was very apt and imperative during this crucial period of preparation for 2023 General Elections, adding that an antidote to free, fair and credible election is peaceful and tranquil environment in which all hands must be on deck to guard against insecurity, kidnapping and bandtry which are likely to be on increase during this time.

Earlier, in his welcome address, the Chairman, Lagos State Community Development Advisory Council, Alhaji Azeez Amusat praised the Executive Chairman, Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu for hosting a befitting  Congress, noting that the Economic Empowerment, Community Development and Support for the Community Development Associations by the Chairman should be emulated by others.

The Director,  National Orientation Agency, Lagos State, Dr. Waheed Ishola delivered a very comprehensive lecture on the theme of the Congress.

The occasion was well attended by the Special Assistant to the Governor on Community Affairs, Alhaji Babatunde Jimoh, Representative of the Executive Chairman, Ojo Local Government, Hon. (Mrs) Edna Uche  Ubochi, Directors from the Ministry of Local Government and Community Affairs, Members of the Executive Committee, Ojo Local Government, Members of Lagos State Community Development Advisory Council from the twenty Local Governments and thirty seven Local Council Development Areas.
