Ojo  LG Chairman Bags National Local Government Merit Award (LOGEXA) 2022

The Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu has won the National Local Government Merit Award(LOGEXA)2022 as one of the best ten Local Government  Chairmen in Nigeria at a Special Ceremony designed to honour the recipients at the National Merit Award Auditorium, Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.

….Promises to do more on Infrastructural renewal and Economic Empowerment.

….Dedicates the Award to the entire workforce and the good people of Ojo Local  Government.

The Executive Chairman of Ojo Local Government, Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu has won the National Local Government Merit Award(LOGEXA)2022 as one of the best ten Local Government  Chairmen in Nigeria at a Special Ceremony designed to honour the recipients at the National Merit Award Auditorium, Merit House, Maitama, Abuja.

Hon. Idowu remarked that the Award would spur him to  contribute more to the development and progress of the area, noting that the achievements recorded during the period under review were just the tips of iceberg.

Earlier, the Project Coordinator of the Award, Mr. Ilesanmi Olayoriju in his address revealed that the Awardees were selected among the 774 Local Government Chairmen based on their performances, nomination and votes to ensure transparency and merit.

He further advised the Chairmen not to relent but to improve on their impeccable  record of achievements and make lives more meaningful at the Grassroot.

The occasion was well attended by the critical stakeholders from all walks of life and the awardees from all the geopolitical zones in Nigeria.
