….Gives Food packages and cash to over 100 Widows
Widows have been advised to take heart and be more committed to their children upbringing to make them better citizens.
This was was the counsel of the Executive Chairman, Ojo Local Government, Hon. Rasulu Olusola Idowu ( Mr.Project) during the annual get- together with Widows at the Local Government Secretariat on Thursday.
Hon. Idowu gave food packages to the Widows which consist of rice, beans, semovita and cash for the celebration of Yuletide season, noting that his administration will continue to empower the Widows economically and financially through the poverty alleviation programmes of the Council.
The LG. Boss further advised the Widows on the discovery of Omicron, another variant of Covid -19 in which he enjoined them to be Vaccinated with their children who are 18years and above, adding that all Covid-19 protocols should be strictly adhered to.
Highlight of the event was the Executive Chairman dancing with Widows in the sprit of Joyous celebration of yuletide.
The occasion was witnessed by Leader of the Council, Hon.Solomon Adefemi Wusu, Former, Lagos State, House of Assembly Member, Ojo Constituecy 1, Hon. Muyibat Rufai,Councillors, Council Manager, Mrs. Esther Yetunde Ajose, Management and all the stakeholders in the area.
