The last of the intricacies of the Obasa movement to truncate the peace in Amuwo-Odofin seems not to be rescinding anytime soon.
The latest development is that it is claimed that Obasa has procured the LASIEC form and handed it over to his stooge in Amuwo-Odofin, Hon. Dipo Olorunrinu, who he is pushing to become the Executive Chairman of Amuwo-Odofin LG.
Tony Aduba one of the revenue officers engaged as a non-pensionable staff in the LG said. “For person to come stop my garri because he wants to be Senator, na die be dat (this is war)”
Tension is rising in the local government that used to be known for its peace in recent times.
One can recall that Amuwo-Odofin was one of the few local government the carnage that happened during the EndSars protest didn’t find an abode because of the peace and tranquility that existed across the community.
The leadership of the Party at the state should critically look into this to forestall the breakdown of law and order in Amuwo-Odofin.
