A group of northern women under the auspices of Northern Women Advocates for Tinubu/Shettima  has vowed to take the campaign for a Tinubu presidency to women in the rural areas whom they described as the real beacon of democracy.

National president of the group, Folashade Aransiola, who spoke at a news conference in Abuja described the APC presidential ticket as a combination of two powerful synergies going by their antecedents.

She said policies and strategies adopted by both Tinubu and Shettima   when they served their respective States indicate they would do a lot in the area of women’s development.

Aransiola said the group would take its mobilisation to the grassroots, especially to women, who do not have access to the internet because they are the real champion of democracy, who come out en masse to vote on election day.

She emphasised that Tinubu and Shettima recognised the important role women play in politics hence the special attention accorded the women folk in the administration.
