Nigeria records 245 new coronavirus cases, Lgaos tops with 76

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have risen to 2,802 as 245 new cases in Nigeria were recorded on Monday.

According to NCDC, the deaths toll has also risen to 93 while 417 patients have been discharged.

The epicenter Lagos recorded 76 new cases, followed by Katsina and Jigawa with 37 and 32 cases respectively.

Lagos Panorama monitored that there are fears that number of confirmed cases may rise in days to come following ease of lockdown in states across the country and the inability of the populace to comply with physical distancing.
