The recognition further consolidates Mr. Lawal’s standing within Nigeria’s financial leadership community. In November 2025, he was conferred with the Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) at an investiture ceremony held at the Banquet Hall of the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts, National Theatre, Iganmu, Lagos.
Speaking on the sidelines of the event, Mr. Lawal expressed appreciation to the Institute and reaffirmed his commitment to advancing professional standards in the financial sector.
“This recognition is deeply appreciated and serves as encouragement to continue promoting responsible financial practice, institutional integrity, and sustainable growth across the banking and credit ecosystem,” he said.
Polaris Bank described the honour as a significant milestone, reflecting the institution’s enduring commitment to professionalism, innovation, and ethical leadership.
The ceremony featured formal investiture proceedings, goodwill messages from industry leaders, and the celebration of excellence across Nigeria’s credit management and financial services profession.
