World Cup Qualifiers: NFF Gets Ultimatum To Submit Technical Report

It will be recalled that following the unsatisfactory performance of the Super Eagles, the Sports Ministry was left with no option than to direct the NFF to submit the Technical Report of the last phase of the 2021 World Cup qualifiers to it.

A top official in the Sports Ministry told newsmen yesterday in confidence that the NFF had complied with the directive.

“I can confirm to you that the NFF has submitted the Technical Report on the performance of the Super Eagles and its Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr to the Ministry as directed by the Permanent Secretary on November 22.

“The Ministry is studying the comprehensive report before a further meeting will be convened with the NFF for the way forward,” he said.

The fate of the technical adviser, Gernot Rohr, is hanging on the outcome of the meeting to be held between the Ministry and the NFF.
