The 137 schoolchildren abducted from Kuriga village in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, who were released on Sunday, have arrived at the Government House in Kaduna.

The 137 schoolchildren abducted from Kuriga village in Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, who were released on Sunday, have arrived at the Government House in Kaduna.

The schoolchildren arrived at Sir Kashim Ibrahim Government House at about 2:09 p.m. They were transported in five buses from 1 Division Nigerian Army Headquarters in Kaduna, amid tight security.

The schoolchildren were abducted on March 7, from an LEA and Junior Secondary School in Kuriga village, Chikun local government area of the state.

On Sunday, the Kaduna State Government announced the release of the schoolchildren.
