The Council Chairman Igando-Ikotun Lcda Hon. Morenike Adesina Williams has given out the sum of 3.5million naira empowerment to women, youths, Artisans, Groups and farmers in her community.

In addition, 70% of the beneficiaries were youth as to engage them in personal businesses
Morenike during the event urged the beneficiaries to judiciously make use of the cash empowerment given to them.
According to her, “the reason for the empowerment programme is to reduce the rate of unemployment among women and youths.
