The League of Former Ward Chairmen, Ikeja Federal Constituency, has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Hon. Olasinmi Akindele Odunmbaku, beloved wife of the revered political leader and Governance Advisory Council (GAC) member, Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku.
In a condolence message signed by its Chairman, Comrade Tayo Aderinola, the League described the late Hon. Olasinmi Odunmbaku as a virtuous woman of unwavering faith, compassion, and exceptional grace, whose life was marked by selfless service, kindness, and steadfast support for her family and community.
The statement noted that Mama’s warmth, generosity, and exemplary character touched countless lives, leaving behind a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew her.
The League extended its heartfelt condolences to Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku, the entire Odunmbaku family, and all loved ones, praying that Almighty God grants them the strength and fortitude to bear the painful and irreplaceable loss.
It also prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed, asking God to grant her eternal rest.
The family is expected to announce the burial arrangements in due course.
