LCDA Chairman Commends Governor Sanwo-Olu for Lagos Sports Summer Camp Initiative

The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo-Bayeku Local Council Development Area, Mr. Olusesan Daini, has commended the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for giving approval to the Lagos State Sports Commission to organise the Season II, Phase II of the Lagos Sports Summer Camp.

The Executive Chairman, Igbogbo-Bayeku Local Council Development Area, Mr. Olusesan Daini, during his visit to the Lagos Sports Summer Camp at Oriwu College, Ikorodu on Tuesday.

Daini gave the commendation during his visit to the programme at Oriwu College in Ikorodu, saying the Summer Camp will enable the participants to have a better relationship with one another and promote teamwork.

He urged those engaged in activities at the camp to transform the knowledge acquired at the Lagos Sports Summer Camp into life-changing endeavours for a better tomorrow.

His words: “You can be a producer of large Power Bank in your locality, if you concentrate on what you are being taught on how to produce Power Banks, which is part of what you are going to learn at the camp”.

The Executive Chairman promised to reward the participants during the closing ceremony of the seven days summer camp on Saturday, August 28, 2021.

Recall that the Season II Phase I of the Lagos Sports Summer Camp for Lagos-West Senatorial District was held at the Badagry Grammar School from Sunday, 15th to Saturday, 21st August, 2021. The Season II Phase III of the programme for the students Lagos-Central District will hold from 5th to 11th September 2021, in Surulere area of the State.
