LAWMA signs franchise agreement with the PSP operators

The Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has signed a five year agreement with PSP operators, with the sole objective of enhancing their operational activities, boosting their confidence and assuring them of government’s commitment to ensuring their sustainability.

PSP operators are members of the Private Sector Participants in waste management in Lagos State.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, MD/CEO of LAWMA, Mr. Ibrahim Odumboni enjoined the PSP operators to improve on their service delivery and repay the magnanimity of Mr. Governor, by ensuring that they discharge their duties diligently.

Responding, President of the Associationof Waste Managers of Nigeria (AWAMN), Mr. David Oriyomi expressed his gratitude to the Authority for this milestone, saying that this singular gesture will boost the morale and confidence of their members.

He also assured LAWMA of the total commitment of AWAMN members to ensuring a sustainably cleaner environment.
