The Chairman Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, LASIEC, Hon Justice Ayotunde Philips (Rtd.) has appealed to members of the public to ensure that they get vaccinated as soon as they can.
The LASIEC Boss who announced through her Facebook page, that she has been vaccinated on Thursday with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
In her words; “Good day Facebook family long time!! It has been a trying year for all of us and we have all lost at least one loved one to the dreaded Covid19 virus. May the souls of all our dear departed rest in perfect peace. Amen”.
“Help is now at hand, with the arrival of the vaccine, so I appeal that we all get vaccinated as soon as we can”.
“I was vaccinated with my first dose yesterday (Thursday) and I have had no reaction whatsoever as at now, so please don’t be afraid to protect yourself against this dreaded and deadly illness. The second dose will be administered in 3 months time DV”.
“The Medical Personnel among us will educate us more in the benefits the vaccine provides us. Please listen to them. We shall surely survive this by His grace. Amen. Have a blessed weekend and remain prayerful. God bless you all” she averred.
