He added that during the recent distribution of the palliative food boxes at the Adeyemi-Bero Auditorium, Alausa-Ikeja, the Office noted that none of the beneficiaries were from Badagry, hence, the need to bring the palliative to their doorstep.

The Special Adviser averred that the journey to the communities is in line with the mandate of the Office, which includes citizen engagement as well as extending the goodwill, policies and programmes of the Lagos State Government to grassroots communities across the five divisional areas of the State.

Appreciating Mr. Governor, His Royal Majesty Aholu Sano Toyi 1, De-Ovitotode of Koga-Zebbe Kingdom in Badagry noted that the residents of the community will never forget the laudable gesture extended to them by the Lagos State Government.

He further added that the community will continually support and pray for the success of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as well as the Lagos State Government. He, however, appealed to Mr. Governor to graciously approve the reconstruction of the road leading to the community.

Also present at the events were Directors and Staff from the Office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement.

Before the event, the Special Adviser Office of Political Legislative and Civic Engagement stopped over at Mowo and Pota Communities in Badagry where he handed over several palliative food boxes to some of the residents of both communities
