LASG approves organised car parking system for LASUTH

The Lagos State Government, through the Governing Board of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), has approved the use of an organised car parking system within the premises of the Teaching Hospital.

The Lagos State Government, through the Governing Board of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), has approved the use of an organised car parking system within the premises of the Teaching Hospital.

A statement issued by the hospital management said that the new parking arrangement was initiated in a bid to resolve the daily chaotic parking situation within the premises, stressing that the prime location of the facility has turned its grounds into a parking lot for people who have nothing to do within the premises.

The release said, “Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, in consultation with the office of the Public-Private Partnership, approved the recommendation that Messrs Balosh should manage the new parking arrangement”.

“The initiative has a provision for designated staff parking areas, free areas for vehicles to drop sick patients and move on, fee-paying car park areas for medium and long stay visitors”, it added.

The management, however, assured the general public that the step was taken in the best interest of its clients as well as visitors alike.
