LASCCWA, APC Women Leaders Unite to Boost PVC Collection, Voter Participation in Lagos

The President of the Lagos State Council Chairmen’s Wives Association (LASCCWA) and Chairperson of Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mrs. Abimbola Odunmbaku, on Wednesday led Conference 57 Chairpersons to the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretariat on Acme Road, Ikeja, for a strategic stakeholders’ meeting with APC Women Leaders across Lagos State.

The President of the Lagos State Council Chairmen’s Wives Association (LASCCWA) and Chairperson of Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mrs. Abimbola Odunmbaku, on Wednesday led Conference 57 Chairpersons to the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Secretariat on Acme Road, Ikeja, for a strategic stakeholders’ meeting with APC Women Leaders across Lagos State.

The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between LASCOWA and the APC Women Leaders while intensifying grassroots mobilization to encourage eligible residents to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and actively participate in the electoral process.

The stakeholders emphasized the critical role of women in voter education, community engagement, and increasing voter turnout ahead of future elections, reaffirming their commitment to deepening democratic participation across the state.

Among those in attendance were the Vice President of the Lagos State Conference of Council Chairmen’s Wives Association (LASCCWA), Mrs. Christianah Ismail of Eredo LCDA; the Association’s Secretary, Mrs. Ramat Kasali of Lekki LCDA; APC Lagos State Woman Leader, Mrs. Abimbola Eletu; the APC State Senatorial Women Leader; and the Lagos State APC Secretary, Alhaji Muhydeen Areola Jokomba, who represented the Lagos State APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.
