Lagos State Valuation Office gets NIESV award

The Lagos State Valuation Office (LASVO) has been honoured as the Most Outstanding Government Agency by the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV).

The Lagos State Valuation Office (LASVO) has been honoured as the Most Outstanding Government Agency by the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV).

The award was presented at the NIESV 14th Honours Nite Award Ceremony themed; “Rewarding Excellence In Real Estate Sector”, put together to recognise and celebrate outstanding organisations and institutions. The event held at the Civic Centre, Lagos on Thursday 20th May, 2021.

LASVO emerged winner, through an e-voting process among the three government agencies shortlisted in the category, which are; Lands Bureau, Lagos State Valuation Office and Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.

The Chairman, Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Housing, Mr. Rasheed Makinde and the Chairman, NIESV Lagos Branch, ESV. ‘Dotun Bamigbola, FNIVS, while presenting the award to the Director, ESV. Gbenga Adekunle Awolaja FNIVS, commended LASVO for its outstanding performance, for institutionalising due process and for the due diligence exhibited in carrying out its duties.

The event had in attendance the Permanent Secretary, Lands Bureau, Mr S.O. Agoro and other top government dignitaries, among several notable personalities and big players in the Real Estate Business.
