In response to series of letters and appeal from Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Administration on the need for a collaboration with the state government to rescue the community on deplorable condition of some major roads within the local government which are beyond the capacity of the council authority.
The State Government through public work has commenced comprehensive rehabilitation of Ewu road which was abandoned by a federal contractor facilitated by Former House of Representatives Member Hon.Shadimu.
According to Engr Marouf Adewusi who is in charge of the project while discussing with Local Government entourage who were on inspection of the work said the road re-surfacing would be extended 20 meters into the adjacent streets and some of the drainages would be re-constructed before laying of Asphalt.
The inspection team which included members of both the Exco and legislature promised to discuss with the executive chairman on how the olive branch can be extended to Ileshomi to Adekunle Allen and Arowojobe streets .
Through the efforts of the local government chairman Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh and other stakeholders of the local government the following roads have gotten the approval of the state government for resurfacing and complete overhauling
