Lagos State Football Association suspends all football activities in Lagos State

Following the directives of the Nigeria Football Federation on the suspension of all forms of football competitions in Nigeria for the next 30days as a precautionary concern for COVID 19 pandemic, the board of the LAGOS STATE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION has complied with the latest development.

Consequently, the State FA Chairman, Mr. Seyi Akinwunmi hereby mandates all football activities in the state to be suspended with immediate effect and the suspension will last for the next four weeks including all Schools and local football Competitions in the State. All the stakeholders and the 5 Divisional Football Associations in the State should ensure strict adherence to this directive.

The Chairman also admonished all stakeholders to comply with various safety precautions and conduct as advised by the Federal Ministry of Health and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, such as hand-washing, the use of sanitizers and social distancing.
