Lagos State Deaf Sports Association organizes trial for the National Youth Games

In preparation for National Youth Games ILORIN 2021, the Lagos State Deaf Sports Association (LSDSA) has organized a day trials for the U-15 Deaf athletes on Wednesday, at the Main Bowl of Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.

This is contained in press release signed by the Head of Media of the Association, Tayo Aderinola, who said the trials include 100M Men & Women, 200M Men&Women, 400M Men& Women.

It may be recall, that the Lagos Deaf Sports Athletes contributed six gold medals, four silver medals and 2 bronze medals for Team Lagos in the last National Sports Festival, Edo 2020, making it the most outstanding Sports Association from the State.

The Chairperson of the Association, Mrs Adelola Adewole who was on ground to monitor the event with other members, told Lagos Panorama that the athletes camp will be opened immediately to enable adequate preparation before the National Youth Games for U-15 2021 edition in ILORIN, Kwara State.

She said the LSDSA Members will continue to visit and monitor the athletes before their departure for the games in October.

Other Lagos State Deaf Sports Association Members in attendance are Vice Chairman, Hon Adisa, Mr Aregbesola Rasheed, Coach Michael Kareem and the Secretary of the Association Mr Adesoji Ajose.

Also in attendance are representative from School Sports Commission, Mr. Oyewole Kolawole and Mrs. Akande the Sports Director from State Grammar School Agege.
