Today, the official signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Lagos State Government and Percel B Communities of the Lekki Free Zone comprising; Eyin-Osa, Yeguda and Abomiti Communities was successfully performed at a short ceremony presided over by Dr. Mrs Lola Akande, Honourable Commissioner for Commerce Industry and Cooperatives, which took place at the Conference room of the Ministry.
This is the result of a successful negotiation of terms of relationship between the State Government and the Communities affected by the Lekki Free Zone project.
Accredited representatives of the Eyin- Osa, Yeguda and Abomiti Communities signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU)
in the presence of the Permanent Secretary MCIC, Mrs. Olatokunbo Emokpae, the Surveyor General/ Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olutomi Sangowawa, Oba Olusegun Awokoya and representatives of the State Lands Bureau, the State Ministry of Justice and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, who is the Legal Counsel to the Communities.
